A Little About
Brad & Jody
We are an interabled couple dedicated to sharing our journey to support, uplift, and inspire others in similar relationships.
Our partnership is grounded in the 12 Principles for Interabled Love (12 Principles)—a spiritual and practical framework that offers guidance for navigating life’s complexities with balance and purpose.
We acknowledge that while every relationship faces challenges, living with disability introduces unique dynamics and experiences that shape our shared path.
The ocean serves as a symbol of our life together—its tides reflecting the natural ebb and flow of joy, hardship, growth, and renewal.
Our Values
We aim to:
Encourage and empower other interabled couples through shared stories, insights, and lived experience.
Demonstrate that the lessons learned in interabled relationships can strengthen all forms of connection—including those with family, colleagues, and friends.
Celebrate the interabled relationship as a source of blessing, spiritual growth, and mutual transformation.
Our Philosophy
Our approach is rooted in empathy, grace, humor, and resilience. We believe these qualities are essential in approaching life’s most profound and sensitive experiences, including:
Diagnosis of chronic or acute illness
Progression of disabilities
Aging and geriatric illness
Sex and intimacy
Through the guidance of the 12 Principles, we have learned to face each challenge with hope, faith, and courage—choosing connection over isolation and love over fear.
Ultimately, we believe that love in all its forms—when met with understanding and intention—has the power to transcend limitation and reveal the sacredness of shared humanity.
